Norah Luzadder
Vice President of Philanthropy & Impact
Over the past four years, senior Norah Luzadder’s participation in DECA has been nothing short of life-changing. Nervously walking into her first DECA meeting as a freshman, she knew no one (and nothing about DECA!) - now, she can proudly say that this organization is where she has found many of her closest friends. Norah believes that without DECA, she would be far less confident and certainly less excited about her place in the business world.
A student at New Trier High School, Norah has been on her DECA chapter’s executive leadership board for three years, and now serves as the Vice President of Finance. DECA is her school’s largest extracurricular organization, and many of her initiatives while a leader have pertained to the wholehearted inclusion of every single DECA member in her chapter. She has also managed social media and pioneered her chapter’s iConnect program, gaining state recognition for the first time ever.
Outside of DECA, you can find Norah volunteering at her church, practicing the clarinet, or doing karate. She loves listening to music - Genesis is a recent favorite - and spending time with her family and two French bulldogs. She also serves as president of Student Council at her high school.
Norah is beyond excited to serve on the State Action Team this year, and she cannot wait to help Illinois DECA members achieve whole-person, interpersonal, and national success. She believes that every single Illinois DECA member is a winner, and she aims to provide quality support to each and every member on their journey to DECA success.
