Celebrating a Successful ICDC!

Hi everyone! Minzie here - I hope you’re all looking forward to the end of the school year, and summer break, which is fast approaching. For our Illinois DECA seniors… I hope senioritis isn’t hitting too hard. Only a few more days! You got this.

I wanted to make a post for those who attended ICDC in Anaheim, California a couple weeks ago. To say I’m proud of all of you, and the way you represented Illinois DECA, is a major understatement. I hope you all had fun, as the experience of going to the International Career Development Conference is a privilege granted only to the best in international DECA. For those of you who received a medal, and especially those who got DECA glass, you all amaze me. And to EVERYONE who qualified and competed, I’m so proud of you. Be sure to be proud of yourselves.

I also wanted to take the time to recognize those from our own Illinois DECA Association that were recognized for their competition performances on the national stage! Below is a list of our outstanding Illinois DECA members who were overall roleplay and written event finalists at this year’s international conference. If you see a name you recognize, don’t forget to give them a shoutout!
