ICCCTSO

Illinois Coordinating Council for Career & Technical Student Organization is comprised of all ten student career and technical organizations in the state of Illinois. ICCCTSO holds 3-day leadership training in Springfield every summer for the state officers of each CTSO. The ten CTSO’s are BPA, DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, PBL, TSA & Skills USA.

This year the conference will be July 2023. 

Unlike most of the other CTSOs we elect our state officers in the fall so we don’t have current officers to attend; however, students who plan to run for state office should consider attending this conference to prepare to be a leader. 

The conference is subsidized by a state grant and the cost is usually $20 per person which covers conference materials, speakers, hotel room and several meals. A student must have their advisor in attendance and both are expected to participate in the conference activities. In the past the students were able to debate issues on the floor of the House of Representatives led by a Parliamentarian and usually have lunch in the Governor’s Mansion as part of the conference activities.
