Workshop #1: Presented by Keynote Speaker Kate Garnes entitled "Sound Your Battle Cry: Stop Making Excuses and Take Your Life Back"
Workshop # 2: Presented by Todd Gehrmann (former National DECA President and President of FOCUS Training. This workshop is entitled "Speak Up" and emphasizes how to improve speaking skills in front of small groups in various settings.

9:30 am – 10:35 am Workshop Session #1 (Room TBA)
10:45 am – 11:50 am Workshop Session #2 (Room TBA)
11:55 am Installation of Officers (Room TBA)
Due Dates: September 8th On-line Officer Candidate “Intent to Apply” due to Karen Bear.
September 20th Completed Officer Candidate packet postmarked to Karen Bear (Packet is on the website).
September 23rd Officer Candidate Testing (Woodridge Public Library) State Officer candidates must be a registered and paid member of DECA by this date.
September 26th Fall Leadership Conference Registration form due today to
