Ali Beanblossom

Vice President of Philanthropy

Ali Beanblossom is a junior at New Trier High School who has been a DECA member since sophomore year. After competing with her sister in Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making at Area, ILCDC, and ICDC, she fell in love with the social, challenging, and academic atmosphere that DECA creates. This year, she hopes to optimize engaging opportunities for ILDECA members, and inspire confidence and ambition. At her school, Ali is involved with UNICEF, Social Service Board, and is a Co-Head for Northside Tutoring. Outside of school, Ali enjoys JV field hockey, playing tennis with friends, and golfing with her family, but her all time favorite activities are water skiing and snow skiing. She also enjoys serving as a member of the Rush Hospital Women’s Junior Board. Ali works at Hometown, a coffee shop in Winnetka, where she is a cashier, serves food, and cleans tables. She loves trying new coffee drinks; you will never catch her ordering the same thing twice, unless it's a peppermint mocha. She also loves trying anything and everything from Trader Joe’s, contact her with your favorite TJ’s items! Ali is passionate about finance and management, especially in the Sports Business industry, and dreams of one day working in the front office of a professional sports team. She will never turn down a game of solitaire, Oreo thins, or a Harry Potter movie, unless a Bears game is on. Ali looks forward to helping all Illinois DECA members experience a fun, competitive, and fulfilling year. She is excited to see the impact that DECA has on the community, and can’t wait to meet members from across Illinois at ILCDC in March!
