She also spearheaded iConnect, earning her chapter the Gold Status, and engaged members in new competition preparation methods to maximize their potential at IL CDC.
Kathleen is extremely grateful for the opportunities DECA presents and has participated in multiple virtual, written, and role play events. Upon qualifying for IL CDC all three years and attending ICDC in Atlanta, she has realized the life-changing framework DECA presents. The organization has given her memories, friends, and experiences she will treasure long after her high school career. While Kathleen believes creativity and perseverance are essential elements of success, interest continues to act as her underlying motivator in everything she does.
